It’s a “Rejoice” Wednesday.
LORD, WE REJOICE IN YOUR LOVE EVERYDAY. AMEN.
Many of us remember being told that the shortest verse in the Bible was found in John 11:35, “Jesus wept.” But in The Greek language we find that this is not the shortest verse in the Bible. You see this verse in the Greek language has three words in it. So the real shortest verse is from 1 Thessalonians 5:16 which says, “Rejoice evermore”, it has only two words. However, we should see the lovely connection between the two verses. As Christians joy flows from the sympathy and grace of our Savior “Jesus wept therefore we rejoice evermore.” Amen.
