I GOT A NEW ATTITUDE

February 17th

It’s an “I Got A New Attitude” Day

LORD, YOU ARE OUR GOD, OUR MAKER AND OUR FATHER. WE ASK THAT YOU GIVE US ON THIS DAY, A NEW WAY OF THINKING, TALKING AND WALKING. YES GIVE US A NEW ATTITUDE. AMEN.

I want you to join me in proclaiming that today is the day of a new beginning and a new attitude. Yesterday is gone and in many cases, we don’t want it back. Today we can begin with a new attitude about ourselves, about others and life in general.

First stop thinking negative about yourself. You are wonderfully made in the image of GOD. You are so special that the Creator of the universe only made one of you. You are very significant in the eyes of GOD, and you should feel that way about yourself. You are GOD’S child. HE never did and never will make junk.

Second, stop thinking negative about others. Surely, there are negative and wicked people in this world but everybody, is not that way, in fact, most people aren’t. There is some heaven in the worst of us and some hell in the best of us. Sometimes the hell we think we see in others is really in us. (Amen lights and walls)

Third, stop thinking negative about life. Life is what you make it. Always look for the positive in each day and each situation. Whatever struggle you are going through is only a test. GOD is there to carry you. He puts on us no more than we can bear. He has promised never to leave you alone. So make this day a new beginning and say like Patti Labelle, “I’ve got a new attitude!” Don’t let the world steal your joy. Remember the world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away unless you let it. So I ask you today, “How’s your attitude?”
