It’s a “Keep the Faith Baby” Day.
LORD, GIVE US THE FAITH THAT WILL HELP US TO CHANGE OUR LIVES AND THE LIVES OF OTHERS.
Faith is five letter word that has a lot of power. You see, God is moved by our faith. For faith is the substance of the things hoped for, evidence of the things not seen. God wants to bless you, but you must have faith. Faith will change your situation. Faith will heal your body. Faith will save your children. Faith will save your marriage. Faith will lift your spirits. Faith will cause your bills to be paid when there is more month than money. Faith will stop the violence in your community. Faith will develop new relationships among the people. Faith will cause God to show His power. Faith will cause your children to act right. Faith will give you hope in the midst of your despair. Faith will lift your depression. Faith will make the impossible, possible. Yes, Faith is a powerful five letter word that can and will make things happen. Grab it and hold on to it. The late African-American Congressman Adam Clayton Powell always closed his speeches with these words and today so do I: “Keep the Faith Baby!” What’s up with your Faith?
