It’s a “Godly Man or Woman” Day
LORD, HELP US TO LIVE A GODLY AND HOLY LIFE. AMEN.
I want to be a Godly man because:
A Godly man has a mind, and he knows it.
A Godly man has a will, and he shows it.
A Godly man sees his way, and he goes it.
A Godly man draws a line then he toes it.
A Godly man has a chance and he takes it.
A Godly man sees a friendly hand, and he shakes it.
A Godly man knows a rule, and he never breaks it.
A Godly man makes time if there is none.
A Godly man loves the truth, and he stands by it. He never, ever tries to shy away from it and goes against whoever may deny it or openly defy it.
A Godly man hears a lie, and he slays it.
A Godly man owes a debt, and he pays it.
A Godly man when he hears good on others, he praises it.
A Godly man knows the game, and he plays it. Moreover,
A Godly man sees the path Christ trod, and he grips the hand of God.
So I ask you today are you a Godly Man or Woman?
