It’s a “Yes God Is” Day.
LORD, WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR JOY IN THE MIDST OF THE STORMS OF LIFE. AMEN.
All of us have dealt with issues created by various storms that have affected our lives and the environment. We have dealt with the snow, the cold, the freezing temperatures, strong winds, the rain, flooding, falling trees, icy streets, roads and sidewalks, crazy traffic with accidents, school closings and work delays as well as power outages. But as I think of all this madness and confusion I realize that GOD is still on the throne, GOD is still in control, and GOD still has all power in HIS hands.
No storm or situation can take away HIS power. He has dominion and authority for HE is sovereign. HE can bless and straighten up your mess. HE can speak peace to the storm. HE can turn your dark mid-nights into bright days. HE can be your bridge over troubled water. HE can be your sunshine on that cloudy day. HE can be your mind emancipator and your heart regulator. More than that, HE can be your true friend, if you let HIM.
Wow, the songwriter was so right when he wrote: “What a friend we have in JESUS, all our sins, and grieves to bear. What a privilege it is to carry everything to GOD in prayer.” Now, I can’t speak for you, but GOD is my all in all. HE is the author and finisher of my life. HE feeds me when I’m hungry and clothes me when I’m naked. HE’s my all in all. Yes, HE is. Can I get a witness? If I’m right about it, let me hear you say, “YES HE IS”!! Aww, it’s time to get your praise on! Get It Get It….YEA BOYYY! Get It Get It…YEA BOYYY! Ok, calm down. LOL Shhh…HE makes you want to shout!
