It’s an “I’m Not Going To Hell” Day
LORD, WE GIVE YOU PRAISE FOR THE ASSURANCE THAT WE ARE HEAVEN BOUND BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS. AMEN.
Most of us have heard someone tell somebody to “Go to hell!” When its’ been said to me my response is just to laugh and say, “Thank Jesus your words can’t send me there.” Because of the Blood of Jesus, I’m going to Heaven, and nobody on this earth can stop me or send me to hell.
There is no way to describe hell. Nothing on earth can compare with it. No living person has any real idea of it. No madman in his wildest flights of insanity ever beheld its horror. No man in delirium ever pictured a place as utterly terrible as this. No nightmare racing across a fevered mind ever produces a terror to match that of the mildest hell. No murder scene with splashed blood and oozing wounds ever suggested a revulsion that could touch the borderlands of hell. Let the most gifted writer exhaust his skill in describing, this roaring caverns of unending flame, and he would not even touch infancy the nearest edge of hell.
Hell was originally “prepared for the devil and his angels”- not for man! That’s why there is joy in heaven over one sinner that has repented and asked for salvation, In The Name Of Jesus. When one does this, he is saved, redeemed and rescued from going to hell. It makes the hearts in heaven so glad to know that another one has become a child of God and instead of going to hell; they’re on their way to heaven.
Now the more I talk about it, the more it makes me want to shout! So I lift my hands up and shout! Lift my heart up and shout! Lift my voice up and shout! You see, Heaven will be my home because of the goodness of God. Shout because that place called Hell is a place to which I’m not going, and you can’t send me there. So the best thing anybody can say to me is, “Go to Heaven!” In fact, it makes me want to do my dance. I haven’t done my dance in a long while. You know the “Holy Ghost Slide.” I’ll slide to the left, get it get it. Slide to the right get it get it. Slide baby slide. Amen, Somebody! So where are you going, To Heaven or To Hell?
