We have killed more men and women than have fallen in all the wars of the world.
We have turned men into brutes and women into whores.
We have made millions of homes unhappy.
We have transformed many ambitious young people into hopeless parasites.
We have made smooth the downward path for countless millions.
We have destroyed the weak and weaken the strong.
We make the wise person a fool and trample the fool into their folly.
We ensnare the innocent.
The abandoned wife or husband knows us; the hungry children know us.
The parents, whose child has bowed their gray heads in sorrow, know us.
We have ruined millions and shall try to ruin millions more.
Yes, who are we? We are your friend that has become your worst enemy. We are Drugs and Alcohol the gifts of Satan, and your only deliverance is Jesus the gift of God.
