ONE DAY AT A TIME

March 13th

It’s a “One Day At A Time” Day.
O LORD, OUR GOD, AND OUR FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF THIS DAY, AND WE SHALL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT. AMEN.

When I was a drug and alcohol counselor I always told my clients to stay clean and sober they had to take it one day at a time. In reality that’s the way, all of us must face life, one day at a time. You see yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a maybe but today is a reality. Today will have its own issues and struggles. We can deal with tomorrow when it comes. But as you face this day, this reality, just believe and know this:
GOD is still on the throne.
GOD is still in charge.
GOD is still in the blessing business.
GOD is still able to do anything and everything but fail.
GOD is still good all the time.
GOD knows all about your issues and problems.
GOD is still standing by HIS word and HIS promises.
GOD will never leave you nor forsake you.
GOD will provide all that you need.
GOD is still a bridge over troubled water.
GOD is still a way maker.
GOD is still The King of kings.
GOD is still The Lord of lords.
GOD is still The Prince of peace.
GOD is still a Wonderful Counselor.
GOD IS…YES, HE IS ALL THAT AND SOME MORE!!!!
Beloved, regardless of what you are thinking or feeling, GOD told me to tell you to just face this day knowing that you are a child of GOD and no matter what may happen the GOD of your salvation is bigger and badder than any storm, any issue, any problem, any circumstance or anything Satan might try to throw in your way. HE said to tell you that HE will carry you through. The BIBLE says: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 4:6,7 NLT). Now come on and sing with me that old hymn Big Momma used to sing. You know the one that goes like this:
“I’m only human; I’m just a man (woman).
Help me believe in what I could be
And all that I am.
Show me the stairway; I have to climb.
Lord for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking from you.
Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday’s gone, sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.”
O’ man it’s time to get some praise on up in here. I feel a HOLY GHOST party coming on. So throw your hands in the air and wave em as if you know that HE CARES. If you believe like I believe somebody says, “O yeah!” AMEN (calm down lol). Now, are you taking it one day at a time or are you worried about the tomorrow you may never see?
