It’s a “Blessed Is the Man” Day
LORD, HELP US TO LIVE OUR LIVES AS PEOPLE WHO ARE BLESSED BY YOU. AMEN.
Blessed is the man whose calendar contains prayer meeting nights.
Blessed is the man who does not remain away from the church because it rains.
Blessed is the man who can stay over an hour in a church service.
Blessed is the man who loves the Lord’s work with his pocketbook as well as his heart.
Blessed is the man whose watch keeps church time as well as business time.
Blessed is the man who leaves the back pew for the late comers.
Blessed is the man who does not have a summer “layoff” from his faith and his church.
So I asked, “Are you a blessed man or woman?”
