It’s an “I Prayed For Rain” Day
LORD, BLESS THIS DAY THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN US AND LET US FIND SOME JOY, PEACE AND HAPPINESS IN IT. AMEN.
The story is told of a pious but cranky old lady who was greatly annoyed because her neighbors forgot to ask her to go to their family reunion and barbecue.
On the morning of the event, they suddenly realize that they had forgotten to ask her to go with them. They sent their little boy to ask her to come along.
“It too late now,” she snapped. “I’ve already prayed for rain. LOL
I don’t know about you, but I’m so glad God is not a personal robot for some folk I know. They have the nerve to think that He will be a part of their evil deeds and ways. So the next time you try to pray something negative on some other people remember this, God is not and will not be a part of your foolishness and mess. For His ways are not our ways. Moreover, remember the words of the Bible and my grandmother: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7 KJV). “What goes around comes around.” Amen, lights and walls, laptops and notebooks!
