TEN COMMANDMENTS

June 16th

It’s a “Ten Commandments” Day.

LORD, WE THANK YOU FOR OUR CHILDREN. HELP US TO TEACH THEM THE WAY.

Our children are so lost and have been lost for a very long time. It breaks my heart just to think about it and even more to talk about it. Some years ago God inspired a teenager to write what is called: “The Teenage Commandments.” I’m sharing them with you in hopes that you will share them with your children by way of a family discussion. Communication with our children is one of the keys that will help them make the right decisions for their lives. So here we go:

  1. Stop and think before you Drink, Take a Drug or use a Weapon.
  2. Don’t let your parents down; they brought you up.
  3. Be humble enough to obey. You will be giving orders yourself someday.
  4. At the first moment turn away from unclean thinking.
  5. Don’t show off when driving. If you want to race, go to Indianapolis.
  6. Choose a date a person who would make a good mate.
  7. Go to church faithfully. The Creator gives us a week. Give Him back at least an hour.
  8. Choose your companions carefully. You are what they are.
  9. Avoid following the crowd. Be an engine, not a caboose.
  10. Recall the original Ten Commandments.

Beloved, Please share these with your children, and maybe it will change their ways and the way they think. Amen somebody right now!
