STOP COMPLAINING

February 11th

It’s a “Stop Complaining” Day

LORD, HELP US TO SEE THE BLESSINGS IN EACH DAY AND NOT THE NEGATIVES. AMEN.

Many of us spend day in and day out complaining about everything in our lives. We complain about our mates, our children, our parents, our family, our friends, our neighbors, our jobs, our coworkers, our supervisor, our boss, our health, our economics, the weather, the traffic, the crowds, our church, our Pastor and the list can go on and on and on. The more we complain, the more we begin to live in the negativity of life. We start to see things as always being bad and causing us hurt and pain. We soon find ourselves alone because nobody wants to be around someone who always has a negative spirit. Now the craziest thing about this is that I find some of the most negative spirited folk in somebodies church every Sunday and some even have titles like Deacon or Deaconess or Trustee or Elder or First Lady or Minister.   (Preach Rocky LOL)

GOD has blessed every one of us in our own special way, and we should be thankful. We should see the glass of life as half full rather than half empty. There is an old saying that goes like this: “I use to complain about my shoes until I met a man with no feet.” Remember GOD blesses those who are thankful and appreciate the little things of life.

Paul Jones was right: “I’ve had some good days, I’ve had some hills to climb, I’ve had some weary days and some sleepless nights, but when I look around, and I think things over, all of my good days outweigh my bad days, I won’t complain.  Sometimes the clouds are low; I can hardly see the road I ask a question, Lord, Lord, why so much pain? But he knows what’s best for me Although my weary eyes They can’t see, So I’ll just say thank you, Lord, I won’t complain. The Lord has been so good to me, He’s been good to me, more than this old world or you could ever be. He’s been so good to me. He wiped all of my tears away, Turned my midnights into day, So I’ll just say thank you, Lord, I’ve been lied on, But thank you, Lord, I’ve been talked about, But thank you, Lord, I’ve been misunderstood, But thank you, Lord, You might be sick body reeking with pain, But thank you Lord, The bills are due, Don’t know where the money coming from, But I say Thank you, Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, I Won’t Complain!” So Stop Complaining About What You Don’t Have, Thank GOD For What You Do Have And Use What You Got!!!  If I’m right about it, somebody says, “Rev I Know That’s Right!” AMEN.
