It’s a “20 Ways” Day.
LORD, HELP US TO LIKE AND LOVE OTHERS AND BE LIKED AND LOVED BY OTHERS. AMEN.
To be successful in life, you need three things. First, the blessings of God. Second, a good education. Third, a like-able and pleasant personality. Now, the blessings of God come from reading His Word and developing prayer and worship into your life. Good education comes from going to school, studying and getting good grades. A pleasant personality is up to you to develop. Yes, it’s up to you and you alone. So here are 20 ways to make sure folk won’t like you:
- Think about yourself and act like the world revolves around you and only you.
- Talk about yourself all the time or as often as you can.
- Use “I” as often as possible.
- Mirror yourself continually in the opinion of others.
- Listen greedily to what people say about you.
- Expect to be appreciated all the time.
- Be suspicious and always blame others for the negatives in your life.
- Be jealous and envious and always talk bad about others.
- Be sensitive to slights.
- Never forgive a criticism and always get people back.
- Trust no one but yourself.
- Insist on consideration and respect.
- Demand agreement with your views on everything.
- Sulk if people are not grateful to you for favors shown them.
- Never forget a service you may have rendered.
- Be on the lookout for a good time for yourself.
- Shirk your duties if you can.
- Do as little as possible for others.
- Love yourself supremely.
- Be as selfish as possible with everyone you know and meet.
