It’s a “What’s Your Persuasion?” Day
LORD, WE GIVE YOU THANKS, AND PRAISE YOUR NAME BECAUSE NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM YOUR LOVE. AMEN.
The story is told of a visitor who said to a wounded soldier who lay dying in the hospital, “What church are you a member of?”
“The Church of Jesus Christ,” was his immediate reply.
The visitor said, “No I mean what denomination? What persuasion are you a member of?”
“Persuasion” said the dying man, as he looked heavenward, beaming with love for the Saviour, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 KJV) That’s my persuasion!”
